SAVE THE DATE for the big anniversary: Sep 23th – 27th 2020
Since 2011, the Favorites Film Festival has shown moving international cinema for the big screen. The programme is made up of selected current films that have won an audience award at festivals around the world. On the occasion of the upcoming 10th anniversary in September , we show a highlight from the past festival programmes every month at City Kino Wedding.
Anniversary series at City Kino Wedding
It starts on Wednesday, January 29th at 9.00 pm with HERMANO / BROTHER from Venezuela, who won the audience award at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2010 and with which the first Favorites Film Festival was opened. It tells the story of two brothers who share their passion for football and who have to choose between revenge, family and their dreams in a dramatic test match for the Venezuelan professional league.
We continue on Wednesday, February 19 at 9.15 pm with the Danish feature film BRODERSKAB / BROTHERHOOD, winning film of the 2nd Favourites Film Festival,
followed by the documentary NACH WRIEZEN, which we show on Tuesday, March 17 at 7.00 pm in the presence of the director Daniel Abma
The other films in the anniversary series will be announced at the end of March. The festival programme for the 10th Favorites Film Festival will follow at the end of August.
