Mathieu is 33, divorced and father of a little boy. He is working on his first novel, but has a day as a sales executive for dog-food in Paris. One day he gets a call in his office and learns that his father has died in faraway Quebec. Mathieu has never met him, and his mother did not speak of him when she was still alive. Hoping to get to know his two half-brothers, Mathieu spontaneously flies to Canada to attend the funeral. But when his father’s best friend picks him up at the airport, he asks Mathieu to keep his identity secret from the brothers.
A weekend full of family secrets begins and finally takes an unexpected twist.
